Key Duties

  • Writing blog posts on FFFBuzz.com

  • Writing press releases about our products and services

  • Conducting basic SEO and keyword research

  • Submit well-structured drafts within deadlines

  • Participate in email marketing campaigns

  • Implement SEO practices to increase blog posts’ visibility

  • Coordinate with designers to complement text with images, graphics and charts, as needed

  • Must be able to use Wordpress, Google Docs and Office Suite

  • Must have excellent spelling and grammar

  • Great communication skills in both writing and with other team members

  • Must be able to write 2 articles minimum per week

EDITOR

Key Duties

Knowledge, experience and qualifications

  • Proofreading blog posts on FFFBuzz.com

  • Proofreading press releases about our products and services

  • Conducting basic SEO and keyword research

  • Update existing content on our web pages

  • Participate in email marketing campaigns

  • Implement SEO practices to increase blog posts’ visibility

  • Coordinate with designers to complement text with images, graphics and charts, as needed

  • Must be able to use Wordpress, Google Docs and Office Suite

  • Basic image editing skills

  • Must have excellent spelling and grammar

  • Great communication skills in both writing and with other team members

  • Must be able to edit all articles before they are published

  • 1  - 2 hours a week are required to complete tasks

PROMOTER

Key Duties

  • Demonstrate and provide information on how we can promote our products/services/brand

  • Create a positive image and lead consumers to use it

  • Use lectures, films, charts, and/or slide shows

  • Distribute on and offline media to source new business opportunities Identify interest and understand customer needs and requirements

  • Report on demonstration related information (interest level, questions asked, number of samples/flyers distributed etc)

Key Duties

  • Manage the social media team to make sure their deadlines are being met

  • Co-ordinate with the Marketing Manager any issues or problems

  • Discuss the research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

  • Approve the design and implementation of social media strategy to align with business goals

  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics

  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency

  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification

  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around our brand and features (original text, images, quizzes, polls, video, promotions, competitions or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action

  • Keep on top of our monthly social media posting schedule

  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information to increase our visibility

  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends

  • Measure web traffic and monitor Search Engine Optimisation

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

  • Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way

  • Plan and supervise events, fairs, conferences etc.

  • Support the implementation of promotional plans

  • Present solutions in times of PR crisis

  • Facilitate the resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors

  • Lead survey initiatives and analyze public opinion

  • Proven experience as public relations specialist or similar position

  • Experience in project management and execution of PR campaigns and/or initiatives

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
